Azorean Aquatic Technologies (MLAAT, Euronext Paris) is part of the  Blue Digital Hub created in Portugal to develop the blue economy. The country  has an extensive Economic Exclusive Area in the Atlantic Ocean. Azorean signed the Blue Digital Hub consortium contract, including key public and private institutions, and valid for the next seven years.

Azorean  has developed innovative instruments and vehicles for the blue economy. Azorean instruments include Inspector, that can be used for hull inspection in the shipping and recreational boat  industry. The company is also developing aquatic drones that can be used for both recreation and professional purposes. Azorean is in a R&D stage to develop autonomous deep water vehicles for ocean monitoring. These products benefit from the company’s team experience in the development of augmented reality and artificial intelligence software.

Portugal’s Blue Digital Hub will facilitate their deployment in the market in the next few years.
